Sergeant Sjon Tol has lived in Santa Cruz County his entire life.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Pacific.  After college, he worked in construction and various IT jobs before finding his career path in law enforcement beginning at Watsonville Police Department.  After lateralling to San Jose Police Department, he returned to Watsonville PD where he served as a Field Training Officer for patrol and traffic, a Motor Officer, EVOC Instructor, and Corporal.  Sergeant Tol enjoys spending time with his wife, Milae, and his five stepdaughters and son.
