Officer Hutchison was born and raised in Salinas.  He graduated from Palma High School in 2011. Officer Hutchison was a journeyman plumber for 7 years and in 2017 became a firefighter, working for the city of Gonzales for 2 and a half years. Officer Hutchison knew he wanted to be a police officer from a young age and decided to switch from fire to law enforcement in 2020.  Officer Hutchison became the department's K9 Handler in 2022 working patrol with K9 Xena.  He spends his free time at the gym, hunting, fishing, or hanging out with friends.
