Officer Renn attended Scotts Valley High school and graduated in 2014.  After being inspired and driven to become a Police Officer, he joined the department as a Police Explorer.  After aging out of the program, Officer Renn enlisted in the United States Army.  He spent a total of four years in the U.S. Army and had a combat tour in Afghanistan.  Upon completing his initial service contract, Officer Renn decided to move back to Scotts Valley and pursue his law enforcement career with the City of Scotts Valley. He enjoys hiking, staying active, going to the beach, and cherishing moments with his family.
