Officer Brown was born and raised in the city of Santa Cruz.  He graduated from Santa Cruz High School and then earned two Associate Degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Cabrillo College.  Officer Brown transferred to the University of California, Santa Cruz where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He previously worked in corrections for the County of Santa Cruz.  On his days off, Officer Brown enjoys going to church, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.
