From 1966 to 1970 our officers used to carry .38 revolvers.












In July 1970 we were the first agency in the county to switch over to the Model 39 Smith & Wesson 9mm double-action semi-automatic handgun. We stayed with this particular weapon until 1997.













In 1997 we made a switch to our current department issued handgun, the Heckler & Koch USP .40 caliber double-action semi-automatic.
