"Cops-N-Rodders"
Antique Car Show The Scotts Valley Peace Officer's Association (SVPOA) Charitable Foundation organizes and puts on the annual "Cops N Rodders" vintage car show. The show occurs every year on the third Saturday in July. The car show begins with registration at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The car show participants then engage in a police-escorted cruise along East Cliff Drive to Capitola. The event migrates to Siltanen Park in Scotts Valley where cars will be displayed to the public. The cars will be judged and the best two cars in each category will be honored with a trophy.
Funds raised through the car show are only used to sponsor local school and recreation sports teams, youth organizations, Sober Graduation Nights, along with scholarships to local youth.
